Crafty People Wanted!

This is about as crafty as I get!
My sister and I are trying to organize a Christmas Gift Boutique sometime around the end of November - beginning of December. We are looking for anyone that makes or sells something. We are looking for clothes, jewelry, baby gifts, kids toys, blankets, art work, home decor, scrapbook stuff and so much more! If you know of anyone that is crafty and makes or sells any of these things...please put them in contact with me. We are trying it out and hoping that it will be a success!

Favorite Family Pics

I really should be going to bed since I woke up at 5am this morning...but instead I'm blogging. Go figure! I just wanted to post some of my favorite family pictures that were recently taken. I love love love how our family pictures turned out. (I just wish I would have lost another 25 lbs before getting them done!) There were almost 100 to choose from, but these are some of my faves (besides the ones I've already posted on the side). I know I've said this a million times...but thanks again Andee!I love this picture! Wesley and his Daddy are such great buddies. Wesley LOVED chasing the Geese. What a goofy boy! This is pretty much the only picture we got of the boys together. Wesley would push Beckett everytime I sat him by Wesley. Don't worry, Beckett wasn't in any danger...I'm standing just outside the shot.
I love Beckett's eyes in this picture. Both my boys have big beautiful eyes. They get them from their Dad! Oh wait I lied...this is another picture of the boys together. But two seconds after this one was taken, Wes pushed Beckett over into the gravel. It took us a while to clean the dirt out of his mouth. Luckily, he survived with just a couple of scrapes on the head!
My handsome boys being silly in the outhouse!I don't know why, but Wesley kept kissing Rob on the cheek while we were trying to take this picture. And for some reason Beckett was mesmerized by the light. All I can say is "HUBBA HUBBA!" I just LOVE this one for some reason! Wes wouldn't stay out of the pictures.
Me and my boys!

Two things you MUST check out!

So, I know I've posted a lot recently, and I'm sure you are all getting sick of reading about our lives. But two things have just been posted on other blogs that I would love for you to check out! First is a silly video of Wesley and his buddy Rowan singing. We had FHE over at the Nielsen's a week or so ago and the boys wanted to sing before we started. I was so glad that Maren grabbed her camera because she caught such a cute moment! I love how the boys are giggling at each other. They are too funny! Click here to view the video. (Just make sure to scroll down a little ways)

Second...is a preview of our family photos. Our talented friend Andee was nice enough to be patient with our boys and take our pictures. The ones she posted are SO cute of the boys! Beckett looks like a chunk...I love it! I can't wait to see all the rest. When I do, I will post my favorites. Thanks again Andee! Click here to view the photos.

No worries...you won't be hearing from me for awhile!

6 MoNtHs oLd!

My little Beckett man is 6 months old today! I can't believe how fast time flies. It honestly seems like yesterday that I was in the hospital in labor with him. And to think that in another 6 months he will be turning one, blows me away! Beckett is growing each and every day. He definitely is getting more chubbier too! I call him my little Chubber Bubbers. Yesterday Beckett hit another milestone...he sat up for the first time! We have been working on it for weeks and yesterday he sat up for probably 5 mins all by himself! He made his Mommy proud! Beckett has definitely changed our lives. Some would say Beckett is the happiest, smiliest (Is that even a word?) baby. But I would have to add something to that to make it true. Yes, Beckett is the happiest, smiliest baby...IF he is being held. That's right, my cute little Beckett is a stubborn one. He absolutely hates being by himself, no matter where I put him. He hates his carseat, bouncer, jumper, excersaucer, bumbo, and playmat. He will only sit somewhere and be happy for ten minutes max. Then after his ten minute limit, he screams and cries until someone will pick him up. Don't let the pictures below fool you. They were taken within the happy ten minutes. I have had to learn how to do everything one handed. Excluding doing my hair and getting dressed. But everything else I can pretty much do while holding Beckett. I cook dinner, blog, do laundry, do the dishes, and clean. I have definitely turned into a multi-tasker. You'd think I'd have massive biceps, but my body isn't so kind. Although Beckett is needy and has MAJOR separation anxiety issues, I still love him to pieces! His sweet little smile melts my heart every day.

The Fair and Happy 26th!

We went to the State Fair on Saturday with our friends the Calls. Wesley and his friend Jackson absolutely loved riding the ponies, seeing all the animals, and riding some of the rides. One of my favorite things to do at the fair is people watch. The fair attracts all types of people, and it can make for a good laugh. What a fun night!

Yesterday was Rob's 26th birthday. I personally don't love when my birthdays are on Sundays, but I think Rob had a great day. I made him his favorite breakfast, a bacon and tomato sandwich. He celebrated his birthday in Primary with a game of Family Feud, and brought candy for all the kids (Rob is the Primary Chorister in our ward). After church, Rob's family joined us for dinner. I made yummy chicken tacos and homemade salsa. Then my family joined the party for dessert. We had orange cake, banana cream pie, and chocolate mousse pie. Let's just say I'm not sure if I'll be able to button up my pants today!

I want to wish my hubby a happy belated birthday. He is such a wonderful man and I want him to know how much I appreciate him! He is so patient with me and all my imperfections. He is my better half. He definitely helps me stay sane. I love him more today than I ever have! Me and my boys are so blessed to have him in our lives. We love you Rob!

Leave this fat girl alone!

In the past 2-3 weeks, I have been confronted 3 times by the SAME personal trainer at the gym. He tries to sign me up for their free consultation. You'd think after the first or second time he would get the hint that I'm not interested. Maybe it's because I have so many different looks (no make-up, some make-up, hair done, hair not done) that he doesn't recognized me. The first time he approached me I was on the treadmill fully engulfed in Breaking Dawn. He came right in front of my machine and said "Don't I know you from somewhere?" Are you SERIOUS? He's using a pick up line to try and sell me on a personal trainer? I couldn't believe it! Now...don't get me wrong. I have nothing against personal trainers. I actually had my own personal nutritionist/trainer for six months last year. And I got great results. I lost almost 60 lbs. It's just that I don't feel like spending all that money, especially when I have lost 8 lbs in the past month on my own. I really think I could probably lose the rest of my baby fat faster with a personal trainer, but I really don't feel like dropping $500+. Another thing that bothers me is that I don't see any other trainers (including my special buddy) approaching anybody else. Am I the ONLY person in the whole entire gym that looks like they could use a personal trainer? I think not. I'm over weight, but I'm not THAT overweight. This guy is really getting on my nerves. I'm honestly contemplating making a shirt and wearing it to the gym that states "THIS FAT GIRL IS NOT...I REPEAT...NOT INTERESTED IN A PERSONAL TRAINER! I'm starting to feel a little harassed.
